STARTING MID 2018, ONLY GEN1 ELECTRONICS PRODUCTION AND UPDATES (RECEIVER, TRANSMITTER BODY/HEAD, JUDGE BOX, WT SOFTWARE) WILL BE DISCONTINUED.
As is consistent with technology timelines, eventually parts in the tech world obsolete and are replaced with newer and better parts. The Gen1 PSS technology is based on the technology industry's components from over 20 years ago. Current manufacturers have stopped producing necessary parts for the Gen1 PSS and have moved on.
In 2014, TrueScore began designing the Gen2 PSS for the future using all the updated parts and components from current industry standards. The infusion of new technology for Gen2 will ensure its longevity for many years.
